Help with Admission
Attendees at International Medical University events are increasingly eager to learn not just how peer institutions engage with their current students, but how they engage with prospect candidates. Hence, we welcome our alumni to provide those experiences to prospective parents who would like to register their children with IMU.
Alumni as Admission or Marketing Ambassadors
There are number of roles alumni volunteers can play in representing their alma mater and recruiting prospective students, A few examples of how an alum can partner with IMU in the admission process include:
- Assisting with International Education Fair, look out for International Edu Fair information in the alumni portal and reach out to IMU International Marketing department if you are interested to join them during the fair in your home country. It can be done face to face or virtually. Do drop an email at International@imu.edu.my
- Conduct Multi Mini Interview with our Partner School Universities. Alumni will be given a brief training on what needed to be done to contribute your skills and experiences during the interview to choose the right candidates for the Partner School Universities. Drop an email to Admission_Dept@imu.edu.my if you happen to be free.
Be the proud and inspiring speaker of IMU. Be an IMU ambassadorand share your experiences and journey in IMU or in Partner School University to prospective parents and students. If you are free and available please drop an email to alumni@imu.edu.my

When you volunteer at IMU or with the Alumni Association Committee, you not only lend your time and talents to our efforts, but you contribute to the future success of our students and programs.
How can IMU alumni get involved to support our students?
- You are transferred or graduate from partner school university, give a talk in IMU campus or virtually to share your experiences. Drop us an email one month in advance for Alumni Relation Office to schedule the sessions with the students and school.
- You have your own company and looking for interns? Please give opportunities to IMU students. Reach out by emailing to Alumni Relation Office at alumni@imu.edu.my

Become a Volunteer
Alumni are the “living endowment” of any university. The passion, pride and care you, our alumni, have for IMU Cares help our university thrive to build more competent healthcare practitioner.
Volunteering is a great way to give back, pay it forward, and make a lasting impact. You decide what type of activity is of personal significance to you-every contribution of your time and skills is welcome.
- If you are actively involved in any volunteering activities previously or currently, feel free to share that information in your profile under Attributes in the Alumni Portal. Reach out to Alumni Relation Office or IMU Cares if you need further help or assistances to enhance the project or activities. Don’t struggle by yourself! Stay connected, we are here to support you.
- You want to contribute and do volunteerism, but you only limited time or only available on certain months or dates. Join us, as we provide a list of activities by calendar with tones of projects where IMU Cares need more than one volunteer to participate and be committed to help the needy.

- Propose a new project to serve the community within your local setting
