The Alumni Relations Office, established in 2016, was founded with the mission of strengthening engagement between IMU and its alumni community. This office served as a vital bridge, fostering lifelong connections among alumni while maintaining strong ties with the university. Through various initiatives, alumni were encouraged to share their experiences and expertise, contribute to the professional growth of fellow graduates, and take advantage of exclusive networking events, career development opportunities, and volunteer programs.

In 2024, the Alumni Relations Office underwent a strategic transformation to become the Advancement & Alumni Office, broadening its scope to encompass not only alumni engagement but also institutional advancement initiatives. This transition marked a pivotal shift towards a more holistic approach to fostering alumni relations, industry partnerships, and philanthropic contributions, ensuring sustainable growth and long-term impact for IMU and its community.

The formation of the Alumni Association of IMU and the establishment of Alumni Chapters have significantly contributed to an increase in alumni participation.
