8 Job Description: ·       Provide thorough services in the form of accurate assessment through analyzing physical findings and medical histories to form accurate diagnoses, provide appropriate treatment/management by developing individual treatment plans and strategies, and detailed documentation so that customers’ needs are being met.

 

·       Keeping up-to-date knowledge or take active part in Continuous Professional Development to upgrade knowledge and, where possible, take part in research activities that contribute to evidence-based practice so that patient will get the best standard of care.

 

·       Daily supervision of Clinic Assistants so that they can perform under the set standard during the delivery of service to customers to ensure customers’ needs are constantly and accurately met.

 

·       Assist in the supervision of Junior Chinese Medicine Practitioners through involvement in clinical and administrative meetings/discussions to ensure high standard of services are provided to customers.

 

·       Develop, implement, and review clinical practice guidelines and patient safety policy. And assist in ensuring compliance by those who is practising at ICMC by conduct relevant clinical audit.

 

·       Assist in the maintenance of Chinese Medicine herbs, equipment and supplies by ensuring that daily herbs are kept following the regulations and periodic calibrations are carried out, down-time of faulty equipment is minimal, proper maintenance record are kept, and supplies are ordered to avoid interruption of services and/or inaccurate assessment.

 

·       Assist in conducting proper analysis and report on Chinese Medicine herbs so that suitable herbs can be carried and dispense at the ICMC.

 

·       Assist in conducting proper analysis and report on equipment or treatment items to be purchased by keeping up to date with the latest technology, analyzing the technology and after-sales service so that accurate decision making can be made on the equipment prior to purchase.

 

·       Assist in ensuring operations are conducted in cost-effective or within budget to ensure achievement of forecast revenue and profit for the ICMC without compromising on quality of service offered.

 

·       Take part in business development and other activities related to expansion of business and new infrastructure including marketing of new services to ensure constant growth of ICMC.

 

·       Take part in the provision of in-service education to staff, public and professionals to ensure increase of awareness on Chinese Medicine.

 

·       Take part in the IMUH promotional activities to ensure Chinese Medicine services are properly marketed.

 

·       Participates in other related activities by IMUH to ensure the constant growth and smooth-running of ICMC and IMUH.

 

9 Requirements ·       Minimum degree in Chinese Medicine from a recognized university WITH at least 1 year working experience in relevant area.

·       Knowledgeable/technically competent in Chinese Medicine assessment and treatment
