| 8 | Job Description: | 1. Health screenings in IMU Medical Clinic (IMC)
a. Developing and managing Health screening programs in IMC. b. Provide comprehensive clinical consultation services for health screening, interpretation of diagnostic test results, and make onward referrals as needed. c. Participate in the marketing programs and activities such as giving health talks and participating in Healthcare’s CSR activities. d. Promoting and encouraging potential patients to undertake a health check by being proactive and discussing the benefits of having a health check. e. Provide feedback and discuss with the Clinic Manager in a timely manner on issues regarding service or process improvement.
2. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Patient Education Activities a. Work with the respective Clinician In-Charge to develop a yearly CPD planning for all Healthcare clinical staff. b. Designing and delivering educational programs on a variety of topics including nutrition, exercise, stress management, medication use, and disease prevention. c. Delivering relevant information to patients in a manner that is easy to understand, developing materials such as brochures, pamphlets, and flyers that help patients understand their condition and treatment options. d. Organizing community events that promote healthy living and encourage participation in a disease prevention program. 3. Clinical Risk Management, Audit and Clinical Governance a. Work with the Medical Affairs, and HAB assigned members to administer clinical risk management. b. Identify, assess and recommend actions for actual and potential clinical risk with the goal of improved patient safety and clinical risk prevention. c. Participate in clinical governance audits at ACC clinics, and ensure high compliance with clinical standards and existing policies.
4. Clinical Management of Patients a. Assisting the Specialists in the clinical management of cases b. Attending to medical emergencies when requires.
5. Service development a. Work with Marketing, Business Development, Clinic Manager, and other consultant Specialist to plan and implement new services for IMC.
6. To perform other duties as assigned by the Healthcare Management. |
| 9 | Requirements | · MBBS or equivalent degree from Malaysia Medical Council (MMC) recognized university
· Completed 2 years of horsemanship and 2 years of medical officer in government hospitals, preferably has worked in health clinics · Registered with MMC · Possess an Annual Practicing Certificate of the current year · Possesses medical indemnity · Experience of developing and improving services and projects · Experience of managing staff or a project · Holds knowledge, skills and attitude of a primary care doctor. · People orientated, good counselling and listening skills · Good organizational and time management skills · Practices patient centred care |
