She went on to pursue surgical training in the UK, rapidly advancing to complete both the MRCS and FRCS examinations—becoming one of the first in her cohort nationally to do so.

She now serves as a consultant upper gastrointestinal (UGI) and general surgeon in London, with a focus on obesity, metabolic health, and digital healthcare solutions.
- Prestigious Fellowships and Research: Throughout her training, she was awarded several competitive fellowships, including the coveted Darzi Fellowship in Healthcare Management and a Research Fellowship at Imperial College London, where she earned a PhD for her work on pre-diabetes and obesity. These non-clinical fellowships gave her a well-rounded perspective and significantly expanded her skillset.
